Scribe Post For L.A/Monday April 30th 2007
Today in L.A class, we got introduced to a new, exciting, mystery book untitled The Westing Game written by Ellen Raskin. I am not so sure about what the story is about, but all I am aware of so far is that16 heirs have been chosen to live in Sunset Towers {an apartment}. In class today we also learned some vocabulary that we will {or have seen} in the book so far. Here are the following words, and their definitions.
1.} Exclusive: Only open to a special group.
2.} Grappled: Struggled; and/or wrestled.
3.} Luxurious: Rich; magnificent.
4.} Chandelier: Light fixture that hangs from a ceiling.
5.} Tenant: A person who pays rent for a use of property.
Tonight’s Homework: Please complete the questions on the wor
ksheet for chapters 1-2. Thank you! :}

Here is one of the many different covers of The Westing Game!
